The latest in my collection of animals songs for kids is a song about gray wolves, called Leaders of the Pack. As with all of my animal songs, I like to spend time learning as much as I can about the animal and find something special about them that inspires the theme of the song. In the case of the gray wolves, the two things that most inspired me the most were: 1.) the way the alpha male and alpha female leaders protect thier pack AND 2.) the way the whole pack acts like a family, including taking turns to care for the wolf pups.
